Begining in the late 1920's, this establishment was named "The Boathouse". Nearly 50 years later the Belmonte family bought the building and renamed the restaurant "The Sandbar". The Sandbar operated until 1999 when it wqas sold again and renamed "Jakeabob's Bay".Since then many changes have taken place including the remodeling of the deck and the additionof an outdoor Tiki Bar. With a magnificent view of the New York skyline, our new outdoor seating area offers the perfect spot for any occasion year round.
